Ofloxacin Tablets belong to the category of quinolone antibiotics and are commonly used to treat bacterial infections. These include gonorrhea, pneumonia, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, or skin infections. It works both on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria efficiently. This medication works by hindering the growth and reproduction of bacteria. It does not work on viral infections like the flu or cold.

Indications for Use

Swallow this medicine with water as a whole. Do not split, crush or chew the medicine as it may cause disruption to the drug. Take this tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor, every 12 hours( twice a day).
The duration of this antibiotic course will be decided by the doctor after examining the severity of the infection and your body’s response to the ailment. Consume a plethora of fluids while taking this medicine unless your doctor suggests the other way.
